July 27th National Dance Day!
Nigel Lythgoe started National Dance Day in 2010, the day is always the last Saturday in July. Dancing has always been a part of my life. From dance class as a toddler, to dancing on the cheer team in high school, and let's not forget my bust a move days on the club floor. Whenever I had the chance, where ever a beat could be found my feet started to grove to the rhythm. I may not be a dancer but oh can I dance! On this day, no matter if you have two left feet or the feet of Estere...(for younger folks feet like Usher...Beiber?) get up and DANCE!
Some ways to celebrate:
Join or create a group and dance the routine posted by Dizzy Feet Foundation.
Rountine posted in June: http://dizzyfeetfoundation.org/national-dance-day
Dance all day. Instead of walking in the store dance.
Go dancing with some friends or hold a dance party inside.
